Vacuum shouldn't effect lb hour of the injectors. The regulator changes
the fuel pressure to balance the effect of the vacuum trying to suck the
fuel in when the injector opens. High vacuum, lower fuel pressure, no
vacuum, higher pressure. I would think that the change in fuel pressure
shouldn't mess up your calculations.

I may be thinking way too simply, but it seems to me if you can measure
pulse width, you calculate duty cycle, and coupled with the constant of
injector flow lb/hr, you can get a reasonably accurate measurement of
the amount of fuel being injected into the engine. Of course, vacuum
would play a part (unless, of course, the flow of an injector isn't
affected all that much by vacuum, because of the regulator), and of
course MPH can be gotten from the VSS, too. But the main concern is
getting the fuel used data.
I wonder?

Has anyone ever used a pulse width meter to provide information for a
gas
mileage/fuel used/trip computer?
