Again, I am a newbie...
Could someone elaborate on ORing at a logical level? Are you referring =
to
modifying the guts of the ECU pre-FETS?=20
I suggested using steering diodes earlier (basically ORing the two =
outputs),
that being said, modify the ECU would be safer than adding the diodes,
transient suppression ...etc.
Question, can the injectors handle the higher pulse rate? i.e. 5000rpm =
in a
four stroke is 2500 pulses per minute while in a 2 stroke 5000rpm is
5000ppm.=20

Well sure it MIGHT work. Or it MIGHT put a strain on the ECU=20
that would leave you stranded somewhere without warning. =20
Feel free to gamble, but I'd examine the particular circuitry=20
very carefully first. The ORing at the logical level is pretty=20
low risk.
