hello to all the EFI gurus

i have tried to look at the archives but there seems to be a problem there

i am setting up a "homemade" fuel injection on my ducati powered motorbike. the ECU seems to work pretty well, but cold and sometimes warm starts are a real pain. 

what would be a good cold start strategy? i am currently using a constant inj duration regardless of the throttle, the duration is 20% higher that idle duration. there is a correction factor of up to 2x for cold starts that decreases to 0 at 50C coolant temp

any help would be much appreciated
