Everything from a Volvo 740 to a herd of IHC's--Scout 800, Scout =
Traveller,
and a 1 ton 4x4 flatbed (7200 lbs. EMPTY weight). International never =
built
SUV's--but they d*mn sure built a lot of 'UV's', and pretty well defined
what 'utility' meant !
[Peter says...] I couldn't agree more. IH used to build farm equipment =
here
in town a few decades ago. Apparently IH gave employees a good discount =
on
the Scouts, they were all over the place. In our younger years the scout =
was
what we all wanted to drive. Most of the ones I see for sale now are
basically rust buckets (damn salt), which is why I bought the Jeep.

[Peter says...] My interest in electric vehicles is prompted by the =
Solar
Car project I technically advise here at work. This in no way is the =
future,
but it's an excellent learning experience for the students.

McMaster University also has a Formula SAE team that is using the =
MegaSquirt
system for EFI.
