[Diy_efi] [ot] Diahatsu Move 1995 - reading the ECU diagnostic codes ?

Hi Chaps,

Apologies for the off topic post, 

An old friend has a  Diahatsu Move 1995  - 3 cyl 860cc efi thing that has recently
undergone a block recon, now it seems to be acting up in terms of fueling but the
pump/regulator seems to be integrated into the tank and we are not sure if
thats the prob or a sensor issue, so reading the ECU's diagnostic would be a first step...

Is there a common interface or circuit to read the ECU's diagnostic fault
codes on a laptop or other readout ?
