Will Tuner Pro RT work on Corvettes which have a CCM (90-96?)? As far as =
I can tell the CCM sends a $F0 poll that the ECM will respond to but =
when the CCM sends its poll it (I think) does not wait for an idle line. =

I've had some problem when trying to run some F-body programs on my 91 =
Vette, I thought one should set the CCM in mode 8 to get it to work? =
Sorry if this question is little off topic. =20

Since Dave was kind enough to bring it up, I should mention for =
completeness=20
that TunerPro RT will work fine for ALDL monitoring/logging the 92/93 =
LT1s=20
(DAx), but you may run into trouble with 94/95. This is because of the=20
EE/EEB masks' message schedules spewing out unsolicited data (similar to =

$58). You must first send out the mode 8 silence command at the proper =
time=20
to get the ECM to shut up before the software can connect.

I will be re-writing the ALDL engine within TunerPro over the next 2 or =
3=20
months to solve this and a few other issues, as well as add a bunch of =
other=20
features (histograms, new logging functionality, etc).

Also, TunerPro RT is also free and registration is 100% optional. If you =

like it but feel you'd rather not spend the $30, then don't. Contrary to =

popular belief (or, to quote one at least), you don't always have to pay =
if=20
you want to play! ;-)

While I have your ear (er, eyes), the next version of TunerPro will =
feature=20
ALDL data tracing such that you can monitor where in a table (spark, =
fuel,=20
etc) the car is actively running. The cells in the spark table, for=20
instance, will be highlighted based off of the RPM and Load information=20
being gathered via the ALDL. Look for that release in another couple of=20
weeks (it currently works quite nicely with my $6E '165).

Let me know if (any of) you have anything else you'd like to see =
TunerPro=20
do.
