Great! I'm really looking forward to trying TunerPro on my Vette :)

For the same reasons, no, TunerPro does not do well with these. After =
the=20
re-write, yes, it will work just fine. The problem here is that the ECM =
is=20
sending information via the scheduler to the digital dash. The scanner=20
(TunerPro in this case) must listen for the chatter and send the silence =

command first before requesting the mode 1 message X data.

The current build of TunerPro will have trouble with any "chatty" =
Mask/BCC.=20
That is soon to change. I've got a few local SyTy guys knocking on my =
door=20
often to ask me to get these changes in as well, so the changes are=20
imminent.

Will Tuner Pro RT work on Corvettes which have a CCM (90-96?)? As far as =
I=20
can tell the CCM sends a $F0 poll that the ECM will respond to but when =
the=20
CCM sends its poll it (I think) does not wait for an idle line.

I've had some problem when trying to run some F-body programs on my 91=20
Vette, I thought one should set the CCM in mode 8 to get it to work? =
Sorry=20
if this question is little off topic.

Since Dave was kind enough to bring it up, I should mention for =
completeness that TunerPro RT will work fine for ALDL monitoring/logging =
the 92/93 LT1s (DAx), but you may run into trouble with 94/95. This is =
because of the EE/EEB masks' message schedules spewing out unsolicited =
data (similar to $58). You must first send out the mode 8 silence =
command at the proper time to get the ECM to shut up before the software =
can connect.

I will be re-writing the ALDL engine within TunerPro over the next 2 or =
3 months to solve this and a few other issues, as well as add a bunch of =
other features (histograms, new logging functionality, etc).

Also, TunerPro RT is also free and registration is 100% optional. If you =
like it but feel you'd rather not spend the $30, then don't. Contrary to =
popular belief (or, to quote one at least), you don't always have to pay =
if you want to play! ;-)

While I have your ear (er, eyes), the next version of TunerPro will =
feature ALDL data tracing such that you can monitor where in a table =
(spark, fuel,
etc) the car is actively running. The cells in the spark table, for =
instance, will be highlighted based off of the RPM and Load information =
being gathered via the ALDL. Look for that release in another couple of =
weeks (it currently works quite nicely with my $6E '165).

Let me know if (any of) you have anything else you'd like to see =
TunerPro do.
