[Diy_efi] Wide band sensor, F1

As I understand it from NTK, there are no problems using a WBO2 on diesels,
and to make things even nicer, the AFR for diesel is ~14.5.

Ah, so essentially it changes the character of
acceleration as boost builds, or something to that
effect? Interesting. Is this an electronic control,
or mechanical?

Again, aside from issues with the cell sooting over
more quickly than in a gasoline app, I don't see
anything wrong with using a WBO2 for an application
such as this; you just have to know the conversion for
lambda to actual AFR for diesel fuel if you want an
AFR number. I suspect that since you're looking at
how the fueling changes under different conditions,
the actual units of measurement are not very important
to you, so lambda numbers might be enough for you.

I know a few engineering types on the list have worked
with diesel locomotive engines, and might be helpful
people to give additional info on this issue.
