i would inquire as to what types of tunning software the use. how much time 
and tunning your friends get for his $. also dont be affraid to make the tuner 
disclose to you what hes tunning. a good tuner will be able to communicate 
fluently with you in the parameters being changed and why. and as always ask lots 
of questions.
