What I'm trying to do is have more than one choice of chip running
in the compute that drives the car. I want to be able to switch
between chips on the fly. Run the stock chip most of the time, but
when needed switch to a special purpose chips. You could have one
with a different rev limit, high speed limit, base idle, etc,.. At
least on the Acura's I've been working with these things are easily
changed. The chips out there, Mugen, Spooon, are in diagnostic mode.
They disregard the o2 sensor, and run very rich. If you run for
very long on them you'll foul the plugs, and the o2 sensor. So
switch for a short run, and then back to stock.
