[Diy_efi] Introduction of a Newbie

I'm on wbody.com, wbody-source.com, clubgp.com, v60degree.com
I know RSM Racing makes a supercharger for the grand am 3100, but for a
w-body i would need to alter the ECM i think.
I could also fine a 3.1 turbo in a 90 grand prix TGP, and grab parts
from that.
For the 5spd I need to find an HM-282 transaxle as well as various parts
with it.
But as a college student, i've got limited funds and time, my passion
for computers is equal to my growing interest in cars. I wanna see if I
can combine the 2, and get into the car's computer systems.
i'm not going supercharger, i'll only go turbo, I've read about both,
and I feel the turbo is the better choice.
the 5spd could happen soon, as I see alot of cutlass owners (w-body
also) who have done it. and SoccerplayerGTP at clubgp.com did it to his
3.4 dohc.
I'm about to do my brake system, and then i'm ordering new dogbones from
fastfwdperformance.com plus an underdrive pulley.
Then I'll probably hit RSM Racing for the front and rear strut bars, and
i'm waiting for a newer version of the sway bar to come out, thats
supposed to be better then the current addco sway bar. With in the next
week I'm relocating the battery to the trunk, to have more room for a
cold air intake, a future turbo, and a soon to come 1000 watt invertor
(we have power outages around here, and when you have flooding, you
gotta run the sump pumps off something otherwise our basement will be in
over a ft of water. GOD I LOVE NEW YORK STATE!!! (sarcasm)
Anyways, I guess the main thing I'd like to know right now is what do I
need to get my laptop conencted to the car and dive into programming.
