I went to some of those websites, and i've been there before, but I dug
a bit deeper, and though the package at obd2.com looks great, if it
doesn't let me alter the cars ssettings, I'm not sure if I want to
invest in that specifically. And at tunercat.com I'm not exactly sure
what I am and am not getting through them over there.
I found this website and i'm gonna make teh cable and see how it works
http://www.aldlcable.com/
and Use the free scan software thats out. For diagnostics.
As far as writing my own calibrations, i think I have to read closer at
tunercat.com..
Oh okay, now I get it, I need to get this Pocket rom or Autoprom
hardware to basically cloak new settings into the computer in realtime.
Not bad, I feel like i'm hacking my xbox again, only my xbox was $60 on
ebay, and my car is alot more to me.
heres a dumb question, Are there how-to's, tutorials, and all that jazz
on this stuff, i don't wanna be cocky about this.
Also, I'm just wondering, is there a demand for people who do this? I
mean if you were good enough, do people pay for this to be done?
