You might take a look at this:

Basic idea is to syncronize the readings from an O2 sensor with the
cylinders, and have the ECM adjust the AFR per cylinder.
My thunk is that rather than try to do the processing and feedback
within the ECM, why not the DIY community come up w/ a way to datalog
the WBO2 (or even NB) plus cylinder info, process it off-line and have
the _Human_ do the feedback based on their situation? Maybe something
as simple as swapping the injectors w/ the most flow into the leanest
cylinders, but lots of other possibilities too. Have an intermittant miss?
Wouldn't it be nice to know if it's just one cylinder or all of them?
One should be able to tell with something like this.
If anyone wants to pursue this idea, let the list know, I've got a bunch
of additional suggestions, and I'm sure others have as well.
