Open the soft top where there is about 3 inches clearance from the soft
top's edge and the top of the windshield - this is only about 5 seconds
activation. Exit the car and note the two cables attached to the bottom edge
of the rear of the soft top - pop them out. Now tilt the rear edge upward.
Rotate each of the two plastic thumbscrews 90 degrees to remove the storage
bin. Rotate each of the next two thumbscrews 90 degrees to remove the
carpet/pad. Now rotate all six of the thumb latches to remove engine cover.
