Scott, I'd go along with your assumptions. Try NEC and or Hitachi for 
details of the chips. Those numbers are similar to chipsets used in MW 
ovens.

Hi Mark,
I'm assuming the processor is the big one and the smaller one is a PROM.
I haven't scoped anything yet, so I'm just guessing.
