No, because thats not what is used for circuit boards in a workshop
environment and if you did that with analog circuits where small
currents are important you can cause problems. IPA is hte best
all rounder (imho).
Side note: Only one minor issue with IPA - its a little hygroscopic
so dont leave the container open, use a squeeze bottle if only flushing
the odd board - it dries so quickly.

The important issue is chemical compatibility so choose the
method best suited to the materials and the nature of the
contaminants you want to remove.
