Well thanks Lee, let me make this even more confusing... Ive done an engine swap in this car and im wondering if they lack of factory 3100 ecm is causing the abs issues... they share the same data line, and im worried that is causing issues.... the master cyl/abs unit in my 94 GA is same as in my wifs 97 (odbii) van... im tempted to get her hardware and install it in my car. This might enable me better communcations with the Abs, but all calibration values might be screwy???

Jim,

That unit is a pain -- there are no flash codes available, you need a special unit that goes in-line with the computer, which is usually mounted somewhere on the firewall, closeby (its a 30a circuit for the hydraulic pump)... Anyways, the easiest thing to check is that all your wheel sensors are working... a lot of times the j and n-body cars had little connectors on the front wheel subframes that got corroded or came unconnected... check it out, its usually right near where the subframe meets the A-arm... there is another disconect point further up as well, almost on the top of where the axles are....
