[Diy_efi] Audi CSI with ECM update?

Ernie,

Glad to hear from you.
i'm confidence that we can make it happen. because i'm an electrical
engineer programming and all the electronic is not an issue for me. however,
i'm lack of machnical knowledge, this is the only thing holding me.
a flow rate control module can be complex sometime. however, if you look at
how the fuel distributor works at the CIS , u will see how simple it is. i
was thinking to use a stepper motor to control the position of a circular
like plunger that control the fuel flow inside a circular tube. on the other
side of the flow controller is a fuel rail connecting all 5 cis injectors.
the input of the programmed controller are air flow, engine speed, engine
temp., may be load and throttle position as well. some other input such as
air temp. can be possible too.
i have a 90 Quattro 2.2L. it has cis system. i'm sure the engine performance
would incease since the air measure plate create a lot of counter pressure
to the air intake.
