[Diy_efi] comments on reorganizing lists

i mostly lurk here, but i am on several ML and forums. 

my tendency is to move to the web as much info as i can.

i have 2 or 3 computers at work, 6 at home, i often travel, and change
ISP, therefore i cannot manage ML's from one mail client. i end up
having one email address for each ML i follow, because i dont carry my
computers with me. 

managing a ML is a lot of work, and mails end up being thousands in no
time. information is lost, and discussions that last more that a couple
days get irrimediably lost or forgotten, or disappears at the bottom of
the page. users need to check often, even a week absence for holiday and
any discussion one was involved in is long gone.

peersonally i'd take a forum any time, and im slowly eliminating my
partecipation in all ML's.

in the forum, i can log in once a week and browse the threads for
anything interesting. ML's require continuous attention.
