Hi Tim,
I want to upgrade it to V4. How much it will cost upgrading this Link
ecu?

Best regards,
Remy

That LINK ECU is the older one (about 1999) that will not talk to a PC.
Only a hand-held programmer will work with that.

In 2003 it was upgraded to what it called the LEM4 or version 4 (LINK
ECU
Software marked D42V4).

As for you, your ECU can be upgraded to the version 4. It is just a
chip
change. (They use a MC68HC11). The newer software also has the ability
to
"Self Tune" the fuel map if the O2 sensor option is turned on. Since
the
newer chip can talk to a PC (using the serial LINK or USB LINK), the PC
can
save your configurations and all the different mappings you can come up
with. It can still be programmed by the hand programmer.
The software for the PC is free from LINK's website. (PC LINK Version
2.5).

If you want to upgrade, I can get you that information......Tim.

I doubt the serial liunk will work for that. You will
probably need the hand held programmer, but you should
call Link to confirm.
