Hi,
I have opened the Link Ecu and the PCB marked is "1998". Is it capable
of upgrading the chip to V4?
Regards,
Remy

Ok, first open up the LINK 1 ECU and if the board is marked 1999, then
you
can upgrade it.
The chip is $100.00 and you can install it (52 Pin PLCC in a socket) or
you
can send them the computer and they can put it in for you. (Same
price).
He also has the chips for the LINK Plus, Version LP1.4 for the same
price.
(Sorry, but no you can't put a LINK Plus chip in a LINK 1 computer).
They also have the serial LINK's for $75.00. You can also get the USB
LINK's from them also.
The LINK distributor that has these is ORBS (Off Road Buggy Supply) in
Yuma,
Arizona. 800-231-8156. Ask for Richard (Owner).
