Now that you guys mention it...

I know that Stuart Hilborn has shelves full of
mechanical FI throttle bodies for old KZ900/1000 "Z1"
drag bikes.  Could take electronic injectors.  The
bore spacing is fixed, but a creative soul could
probably make manifolds for them to fit the 928. 
Since no one wants most of them any more, I would
imagine a pair could be had for a song...
