[Diy_efi] Pulsing a K-jet cold start injector?

In fact, there are some factory applications where the cold start 
injector of a K-jetronic or KE-jetronic system is pulsed. For example, 
some of Audi's turbocharged 5-cylinder engines from the mid 80's. There, 
the cold start injector is pulsed during hot starts in order to avoid 
the risk of starting problems due to a vapor lock somewhere in the fuel 
metering arrangement.

Anyway, i don't think the long-term reliability of a such injector in 
pulsed mode would be a problem. Probably, the interior parts are 
identical to a normal Bosch injector.
