The circuit board I designed checks out so far - you can see it at:

The software right now just supports applying a % bias to the MAF input
and then sends the modified frequency to the stock ECM. In short this is
like the mixture adjustment screw on carb's - you can apply a lean/rich
setting. The board will shortly accept a wideband O2 sensor input so you
can spoof that to the ECM and do goal seeking - ie I want a 15.7:1
(lean) air fuel ratio or a 13.7:1 (rich) - seek for max HP or max
mileage as desired.
I'm applying this to a 1998 LS1 Z28 Camaro - but the MAF I/O will work
for any current GM MAF. Ford MAF's can be handled by one of the 5
available A/D channels on the board but there is no D/A output at
present.
