[Diy_efi] Audi tuning

I would start by looking at the VW stuff on
http://www.tunerpro.net/downloadBinDefs.htm

They have some VR6 stuff from around the same time period your engine
was produced.

Next I would open up your ECU and pull the prom chip and read it or
have it read.  Take pictures maybe look into disassembling the code.
Some times you can use old 3com nic cards(3c905b) to read the prom chips.

I would not be surprised if it was nearly identical to the VR6 stuff
that VW was using.

Also look for address files on VW vortex and other Audi forums.   This
ECU should be pretty well known.
