Older cars and NEW cars. 

Honda still tests for radio noise in the AM stations for several continents.


As well as alternator noise in FI/AT ECU signals, CAN Bus, GPS / Navigation,
Satellite Radio, DVD Players, LCD screens . 

To be fair, if it uses electromagnetic motion, it get's test to see if it
injects noise into any other system.

 

Nothing is more entertaining than rolling down an electric window on a $2
million dollar prototype and have it shut off the engine in a sputtering
death.
