WB vrs NB info

The trick is for having valid info., all the time.
Watching some of the NB stuff vary as a function of EGT is interesting.
Back pressure from one application to another can skew the readings.
just depends on what your looking to do.
Get a heated GM O2 sensor, and then just use a butane lighter and from day
to day watch the output.
Anyay, the EPA, and CARB, still haven't agreed on what a NB O2 sensor is
really reading. Ya ya, in THEORY, it's O2. Trouble is there is lots of
theory that doesn't hold water.

Last week (running lean cruise with a fixed AFR), I was able to change the
timing, see a change in PW, and the O2 stayed the same. BTW, the PW changes
were 2.8 to 3.2 msec., that should have showed some change.

The NBs are a switching type type sensor, reading anything more then that
is quessing. For some applications that is fine, you want to do that fine,
there are lots of 10 sec GN that do that. Also, mysteriously they drive
over the crank from time to time.

You ***might*** put together a WB and have it match your NB. Note, the word
might. You might also see where your NB is off, or varies.
I've had a NB output drop off during a run, while the WB read constant.
Turns out I had 3, yes 3, did I say 3, junk new NB O2s in a row do that.

If you think there is no difference, OK, fine.
Just remember, SAE, the oems, and lots of folks say there is a difference.
I ran a LED O2 display for years, and all seemed fine. I've also seen what
problems they can have.
Did I mention 3 junk new NBs in a row (BTW, different brands, dealers), but
they just errored at WOT.
