If you have a six cylinder, and you want SFI, the 148 ecm is an easy choice... they
are SO common in the junkyards, at least up here in CT, and can be had for a song.
And the nice thing about this box, is you can take the Buick GN prom, slap it in,
change the MAF to the GN MAF, and you can run 12-14 PSI without an issue.

The ECM comes out of the 86-89 LeSabre, Bonneville, Park Avenue, and related cars
with the 3.8L engine (not the later 3800, which is the same block, but different
heads, intake, and ECM.  This is based on what I've seen out of the junkyard <G>.  I
tend to poke in the FWD GM cars a lot and grab throttle bodies, injectors, and
harness connectors quite often.  If you were to check Ludis's list you can get a
full listing of the variety of models that will have this particular ECM.

Boost is a good thing, and even better when the ECM knows whats happening :)
