7747 spd limit first, trip timers next?

So BobR posted code to add speed limiter to 7747. Now i'm wondering if 
anyone has made anything to record, say, 1/4ml , 0 to 100km/h etc times?

The idea in code is to see that vechile is not moving, reset all counters in 
RAM, and when "launched" start calculating pulses per mile or verifying 
current speed and record time or passed count of 12.5ms to reach treshold. 
Then ALDL dumping is modified to include those counter ram locations.

Any ideas?
