Happy New Year to everyone ...

I'm trying to find some information on the parts
in a DIS module I have here - it's from a VN V6 Holden.
A replacement for this unit is part TP407 - "Control
Module Distributorless", made by ECHLIN at Branford CT,
and Rexdale ONT.

Anyway, the two chips, and the transistors, in the
original GM branded DIS unit are:

Motorola 18 pin DIP:
    647027-2 SCQ38066PW01 QLVS8945

Only WEB reference I have for this part is...
        -> http://www.haulier.net/ic/data.htm
so perhaps you can actually buy one of them?

National Semiconductor 8 pin DIP
    M8930 647214 -1001

National Semiconductor transistors:
    952 615-3 and
    006 615-3

Anyone have any idea of what these parts are?
Anyone already done a schematic for this unit, or do I have
to work it out from scratch?

BTW - here are the DIS pinouts I have from some Holden info:

 pin function connections
 -------------------------------------------------------------
A EST signal (in) <-- from '808 D4 EST OUTPUT
  B BYPASS Control <-- from '808 D5 BYPASS CONTROL
  C
D CRANKshaft REFerence (out) --> to '808 B5 CRANK REF INPUT
  E Tacho Signal (out)
  F
G x18 crank sensor (in) <-- from pin B on Hall Sensor
H x3 crank sensor (in) <-- from pin A on Hall Sensor
  J
  K n/c
M crank sensor GND --> to pin C on Hall Sensor
N crank sensor POWER --> to pin D on Hall Sensor
  P POWER from IGN switch

So, what are pins C, F & J? K is not connected to any
components. C and F appear to be outputs like the CRANK REF
signal. Pin J appears to be an input to pin 4 of the 18 pin
DIP.

regards,
