Hello all,
A quick intro.
Been playing with the GM's since I bought my 85 Buick GN in 86...
Stuck with that car until I sold it, then played with my Dodge Neon (or
tried)... Have a bunch of OBD_II info, several manufacturers chips etc...
Was planning, and still am, on eventually making an OBD_II scantool
everyone can afford. Sold the neon and bought a 95 Buick LeSabre. Still
ALDL and mem-cal'd. Been making a lot of headway with it, and have a
junkyard PCM I'm bench dissecting to get more info... Have had a LOT of
help from Mike Pitts and others with programming in C to help with writing
a scantool program that is a variant of Peter Fenske's GCAR. Still a lot
of work to do, and I'll get back to it when work slows again!

My background... Well, no formal college, only a High School Diploma...
Self taught on most computer related subjects...
Worked for Hughes Aircraft for 7 years in Computer and Test equipment
Maintenance, then spent the next 8 years with Siemens Medical Systems
working on MRI and CT scanners. I now work for AGFA Corporation (The Film
company) in their Technical Imaging department working on Medical Imaging
systems (SUN workstations used for viewing and manipulating Medical
images... X-ray images without the film!)
Just finished installing $8.5 million of Sun equipment at Baptist Hospital
in Winston-Salem, NC.

Thanks,
Dave
