VSS sending unit?

I have using a Borg Warner T-5 tranny that came from an 87 S-10 pickup which
has the mechanical cable output for the speedometer.  I have mated this
tranny to a 92 3.1L V6 that requires the VSS electrical input signal.

    Question:  Is there any retrofit kit that will convert the older tranny
to an electrical VSS signal.  Anybody out there have a later year T-5 that
could look and see if the sending unit is removable?
