Tnx greatly for the info.. I am running about half the pulse width on
start up. So this prob explains the no start and the fast hot restart.
Will experiment more tomorrow.

Here's what my '92 4.3 vortec does on startup:

T in sec, car sat 12 hours, all temps 75F.  The motor started running
quickly.
