Hi Folks,
I am presently working on a small, inexpensive da*ta acq*uisition
system.......When I am done I would like to have some of you de-bug it with
me.......It's a simple 4 channel version that has inductive rpm and 3 other
0-5's with a lcd display(pushbutton programmable
descriptions/options,,,,very slow) but if hooked to a laptop will show
scope form "real time" one channel or or all 4.......I want to have some
built in options for the channels, including sample rates and below:
channel 1 =RPM
channel 2 =EGT....not k type but RTG....I found some good ones,solid state
 2200f
channel 3 =0-5....with various sensors available....software included...ie
pressures, temps,etc
channel 4 =AFR.....you can incorporate a horiba, ngk/ntk, and am working on
even the LSM 11 as an inexpensive unit option software to use EGT(channel
2) as a scew for getting at least a close reading of AFR for the guys that
don't want or can't afford a Horiba or NGK type sensor.........

The real time scope of AFR is extremely helpful when doing the AE
transients.........

I haven't decided how much memory it will have but am planning on it having
an rpm or pushbutton start...

Does this sound like something us DIY'rs can use???,,,,,even some of us
tuning for profit??????
I don't know what the "beta's" will cost yet and am still a couple, three
months away from having the first quantity batch of boards made,,,,but I
would like to get some feedback as to who and how many of you can put this
in different environments for me........Thanks for listening.
