Check into an N body car, as it's the closest sized car.  One guy that
worked in a wrecking yard told me the trans mounts are different, but
that's minor. I'd be worried about axles, as that's where the home
machining comes to a halt.
 
If you're really ambitious, you could make a car from this pattern.
