Use a 10 K pullup resistor on the MAF output pin
Else you get a whole bunch of noise

Thanks for the suggestion. Sure enough the M pins are a NTC thermistor.
The F pin is apparently the output but it is only a few millivolts and
really noisy. Frequency does seem to change when I blow into it so
apparently output driver is gone.
