Hello All:

I purchased a chip for the ZZ4 conversion of the LG4 carb'd Camaro.  The
part number is 24502456. I am having trouble reading the prom.  I check the
prom (Devise vs buffer) and every time there are errors.  The prom is a
24pin w/no window.  The tag (Aluminum on the outside of the prom) has the pn
listed above plus says "ESC - CAMPKG CHK 1040"  Under the tag it says on the
prom itself.  "Delco 519k 8229 2055 06630 CE1024"  On the bottom of the prom
in faded ink it says P7880.

I have tried reading it as a generic 2716, 2732 and 2732A and 2764.  All
show errors.

Any ideas why?
