Aftermarket Ign Modules

A quick background -

On the Holden V8's they use a Bosch Ignition Module, how the system is wired
is as follows.

The dizzy sends out ref pulses, There is 3 wires going to the dizzy from the
IGN Module, I assume Power,GND & Signal.
The IGN module then has the Standard 4 wires to the ECM, Dist REF OUT, Dist
REF Low, EST Input and Bypass. Then finally the IGN module has Coil Neg O/P
and of course Power and Ground.

Hope thats clear enough as to whats going on, if so, can any of you guys
think of an aftermarket module that could replace these Bosch units?. They
are very prone to failure.
I don't know why Holden didn't just use the 7pin Delco module.

Thanks

Ross Myers
