Loose Reluctor Coil

Replace the coil. I had the same problem, and although the coil LOOKED good,
and threw a spark, it wasn't enough to fire the motor. Changed the coil and
voila!

Yes it would, but this wouldn't cause your atalling problem. Make sure the
coil is mounted corectly...
