Just wanted to drop a note that I haven't forgotton about
this. I've been spending some time analysing the code involved
to get a better understanding on how this all works. So, I'm
also working on a writeup on how the ecm does the spark control.

I figured that this would be better than just throwing a bin out
there and saying 'this is what i'm using...'

Hang in there, I'll be getting it out there soon.
