DIS systems, a note

Ha, finally figured out the real benefit of a DIS system.

No limit on the amount of advance you can run.

With a distributor, ya gotta' keep the advance within
limits, as the rotor to cap phasing becomes an issue.

just thought someone might like to know that... (for
those that didn't, like me a few days ago)

It's probably why it's found mostly on small alumimum
headed engines. They can use lotttsss of advance at
light cruise.
