The hassle is Peter, Holden (or whoever!!) never wrote any high speed comms
code into the 808 programs, hence - save 2cents by not fitting the UART.
Simply fitting the chip will achieve nothing as far as 8192baud comms goes.
Only the VR+ has 8192 data capabilities (written into the code), don't even
ask how to transpose that into the 808 ;-)
Or - Buy a used Kalmaker.
