Someone _did_ harvest email addresses from the list a few months ago. 
They spammed the list, got bumped off, and then sent the same spam to me
via direct email.  I think they harvested addresses of anyone who posted
while they were harvesting.  In the following few weeks, I also received
two more direct spams, apparently from the same source.  The direct
spams were the first I've ever received at this email address.

A suggestion for the archives:  Message headers should be stripped of
email addresses - at least for the archive copy posted on the net.  Same
thing for paths.  Message authors could still be reached if they include
their address in their signature.  Such addresses are harder to harvest automagically.
