Hi Mike, is your gas tank really that small?  The most I've ever put in
my S-10 (the engine stalled while waiting to turn in the station, so it
was really empty) is just over 18 US gallons, or 68 liters.  I drive 25
miles to work also at 60-70 mph, and I also get 280-300 miles/tank,
which is 16.5 mpg.  And this is a stock TBI 350!

Mine is automatic, 235/75R15.  My freeway rpm is more like 2500, which
leads me to believe I have the 4:11 rear end.  Haven't counted
revolutions or anything to be sure.

Not trying to get on your case or anything, but if you are getting that
kind of mileage then I want it too!
