Mike, you've probably got a firewall problem at your end, like it's not
configured to let ftp requests out.  As a test you might try ftping to
other sites, like ftp.cdrom.com, sunsite.unc.edu, etc.

I can send you some bins, which ones do you want?  There's a list
w/applications here:
