I just joined this list and it kind of looks like it may be over my head.

It's not!!.
There is so much info already here, that all it takes is a true desire on 
your part to do what you mention here.
  Try reading Programming 101, and research maps tables timing in the archives.
  All you need is a min investment, and you'll be  ablle to burn chips for 
days on end and get really picky about what you call right.  The 
experimenting is what I enjoy.
  Once shange atta time takes a new demention here.
  I'm not at my PC, and doing time with a laptop, but I'm sure I have some
data, that might interest you, thou 2-3 weeks away (when I get back to CSH, 
HQ), course by then ya gotta have figured the meaning of CSH, <g>.
