LT1 LOW FUEL PRESSURE

	The last couple of weeks I have been trouble shooting my, rough
running, newly installed LT1 in my Monte SS.  I finally bought a fuel
pressure gauge and discovered I had very little fuel pressure (1-2kpa not
35-45).  I was amazed that the engine could run on such low pressure.  I am
using a in tank fuel pump out of an L98 Camaro, the tank is out of a 85 V6
TBI Monte.  I found no kinks in the line anywhere and I dropped the tank
last night.  My question is how can I confirm that it is the pump and what
is the best pump for this application.  The pump was chosen because it was
the only AC Delco in tank high pressure fuel pump the auto parts store had
in stock.  By the way I know the gauge works because I checked it on our 96
Impala and it read the correct pressure.
