Disconnected what? Coil from cap? Power to module? Reference line
to ecm?

When I crank my car, injectors spay fuel like nuts,

Can't answer without better info. What exactly did you disconnect?

ECM.
This is a guess, of course.
 He replaced the fuel pump

You need spark, fuel, and compression to run an engine. You say you
have spark, you said you added fuel, do you have compression? Things
are getting pretty tough to follow.

 THEN, after an hour

You need to get a book with good info, and follow a logical order to
diagnose the problem. If you're asking several lists, and getting
multiple suggestions, it's going to be very difficult to find the
problem. Distributor provides spark and reference pulses to ecm. Ecm
uses reference pulses to ground fuel injectors. First, check for
spark. If none, determine why. 2nd, check for fuel. If none,
determine why. Third would be compression (unless you know the sound
of an engine with no compression ; ))
If the shop couldn't find anything, you were at the wrong shop.

No help.
???????
 Thanks. Igor.
