Can run 87 octane, combustion chambers are debured, also has them swirl type
heads. Not a problem with detonation, overheating ect. Doesn't even seem
like ECM is retarding timing due to it (should feel a good loss of power)
When hauling the old man always uses 90-91 octane anyhow. My tpi I run
11.33:1 on 89 no problem.
BTW you gas is cheaper down there anyways:-)

I hate to say it Mike, but no way would I ever build a cross country
hauler at 10:1 CR. Finding good 93 octane fuel can be a hassle. I'd
be
lerry of that on a vehicle I only drove around here. Let alone
something
that's haulin a whole lotta "love" to Denver and back. :)
On that truck, I would have gone back stock on everything (mebbe a
few
tweaks). Not a problem with fuel then.
	 Just my .02mV
