I was new to the list about a year ago. It takes a little
while until you can sort out the experts, the Hackers, and
the wannabee's. I can't say that the list ever gave me an
absolute answer, but I can say I have learned a lot from the
list. Most often people point you in the right direction,
but don't give you the complete answer. Remember, only you
really have anything invested in your project. We might jump
in when we can answer a question, but we don't really know
the details of your project, nor do we have the time to
learn them. Generally people just pass on their past
experiences and knowledge. It is up to you to integrate them
all into your project.
